How do you measure your success?

Let the success be measured by the happiness of your heart.

In this materialistic world where money and fame dictate who you should be or who you could be, people often lose compass of what success truly is.

The true success is never about money. It has always been about happiness; in finding the right formula to live and love the life you live no matter what you do or how much you make. In being compassionate, in helping others, in sharing the love and good energy with others, in succeeding to remain calm in situations where one can lose everything; in accepting who you are and that every day you live is another day to work on yourself; in being grateful for each passing moment because you are able to taste it with all your senses.

Success is waking up alive, healthy and well, surrounded by the people you love, and who love you back, and on whom you can count on. If you have all of these things, you are more successful than you can think of.

The money comes but if money is the only thing that you equate with success, you will never be truly in balance with yourself and money will never bring the required feeling of completeness with oneself.

Mark Dawes asked wonderful questions that you too can ask yourself at the end of the day:

Would having more money make you happier or, would being happier make you more money?

Would being less stressed make you happier, or, would being happier make you less stressed?

How to attract success?

For starters, look for something positive in everything you do. Focus on finding the lasting inner joy and not external transient pleasures. Seek comfort in knowing that looking at the world with a perspective of a glass half full instead of half empty will open the doors you never dreamed possible. Believe and live the law of attraction. We control our outcomes if we control our thoughts. If we are positive about the world and life, we will invite the positive outcomes into our life. If we think nothing will ever happen to us, well, why should something happen to you when you yourself do not wish for it?

Send your positive message to the universe. Send love, compassion, and understanding. Embrace and be grateful for every moment you are living because you are learning and experiencing so much. Learn from it. Be happy about it. And that, my friend, is the true success.

Not money. Not fame. YOU!

You are the true success. But you have to believe in it!
